It is with deep regret that I relay this information. Louis "Lou" Schultz, past AK and WA State Commissioner as well as a Past Vice President for the Clan Campbell Society of North America has passed from his earthly life, he was 79 years young.
As many of you know, Lou was very passionate about his Scottish heritage. He was a member of the Anchorage Pipe and Drum Corp, playing with them in both Scotland and New Zealand parades. He competed in the heavy events at countless Highland Game events in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, and New Zealand. The Burns Night Dinners in both Alaska and Washington are too numerous to count as well.
At the present time I am acting as a buffer for Lou’s daughter in this stressful time. Please direct your queries/condolences to me and I will forward them to her. Also if you know anyone that would possibly be willing to play the pipes at this memorial please contact me and let me know. We are also trying to wrangle shortbread to have on all the tables for the memorial as well. Again anyone wanting to help with this please contact me.
Lou, as the motto for the clan goes you will never be forgotten. Ne Obliviscaris. ~Màiri and Robert Campbell
